I was a tomboy while growing up. However, as I matured, I realized that men couldn't fully comprehend the woman I was evolving into. My male friends rarely understood me. Looking back, I shouldn't have expected them to, considering they were navigating their own complexities at that point.

But my girlfriends, oh my god! They are God-sent into my life. Each one of them is uniquely diverse and wonderful in their own way. None of us are similar, yet we've carved our paths and made distinctive names for ourselves in this world.

We discuss everything under the sun, supporting each other through highs and low. Even after geographical moves, we manage to stay connected. Even if months pass before we talk, the affection remains intact on both sides.
